All I Want for Christmas is a Vampire by Kerrelyn Sparks

I did not like Toni.. I tried. Really I did.  But I just couldn't.  She got better by the end but I struggled with her for the whole book. If it wasn't for Ian I'm pretty sure I would have hated this book.  Well that and there were some pretty funny parts of the book.  I did laugh a few times. I wanted to punch Toni's room mate in the face.  Not only because she was a complete brat after they saved her but because of the way she treated Carlos!  ugh I wanted to to cuddle that guy up.  I hope he has a book at some point because I am in love with him.

Ian was adorable and clumsy and he did embarrassing things that made me love him even more.  Toni eventually gets better.  After she falls in love with Ian.  I almost didn't finish the book because of her though. I really freaking hope there isn't a book for Sabrina. I seriously hated her.  I have no desire to read any more about her.

Passion Unleashed by Larissa Ione

I have mixed feelings about this book.  Kinda the same as the first couple.  I liked it, just didn't love it.  It is not one I would go back and re read.  But I did love Wraith and Selena.  I love that Wraith gave himself up fully to Selena.  I liked that he didn't try to make her believe he hated her.  I always feel like that diminishes the feelings.  Why not just be honest about everything.  I mean I understand that he was going to kill her.. even though it was obvious he never was going to do that.  I think it will be interesting to see how he does with what happens at the end.  I think he will be good for the family and I love that Selena just accepted it.  Whereas I would be hesitant at first, no she went right into it.  I love that! defiantly a good match..

Anyways the book was good.  A bit long.  I felt like it was kind of dragged out and I had to fight the urge to skim certain parts but it was defiantly a good read.  You find out a ridiculous amount of information in this book.  Um especially all the stuff with Kynan!! and yay for Gem :) I love them.

Heir To the Pack by Laura Welling

I received a free copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I actually liked this book! I was a little worried at the beginning. When Dash kept saying that Jack couldn't be his, I was honestly a little annoyed.  If the boy looks exactly like you and all you have to do it get a test, stop fighting it and just prove it either way.  That was pissing me off.  I was for sure thinking I was going to hate Dash because of that.  But he turned out to be pretty sweet.  I loved that he claimed them as his family right away and he didn't try to hide them.  That was when I decided he was a good guy.

The book did seem to drag on. She just kept rejecting him.  That always drives me crazy.  I hate waiting until the end for the good love parts.  But the story was interesting enough that I didn't mind it.. much.  I will admit that the little "twist" at the end as obvious.

I would recommend the book.  It was sweet and it was different than most werewolf books.  The only thing I didn't like is that book seem verrrrrrry long.

The Undead Next Door by Kerrelyn Sparks

I put this series down a while ago because I didn't really connect with any of the characters and a lot of the dialogue seemed so childish.  I liked Heather.  Did I connect with her? No.  But that could be because she has a child and her mind works differently than mine would. who knows.  I got a little bored with the story because she kept rejecting him.

Jean-Luc was one of my favorite males from the series so far.  I loved how he was with Heather's daughter Bethany.  The short scene where he played with the crocodile and her barbie with her was adorable and I fell in love with him right there.  If I were Heather I would have grabbed him and taken him to the nearest closet, or couch, or bath tub or whatever.  That would have sealed the deal for me.  I don't really understand why she kept rejecting him after that.

I am excited for Ivan. I am so glad he found a way to age and I am excited to read the next book where he finds his love :)

Three Hours by Dannika Dark

I love Naya! ahh.  i love everything about her.  And I loved Wheeler.  I'm not gonna lie and say I loved this book though.  It was okay but I was a little disappointed. Just because I knew Naya was going to make such a fantastic main character.  I have been waiting to read this book for awhile.  Actually I am pretty sure this book is the only reason I kept reading the series.  I have always felt drawn to her ever since the very first book and I knew her and Wheeler were going to end up together after April and Reno's book.  So I got super excited.. but honestly it wasn't that great.  I think it was one of those where I got my hopes up and expected too much from the book and so naturally it let me down.

Still I am glad that I read it, glad that Naya finally has a good man and I am glad that I finally know all of Wheeler's story.  It has been obvious for awhile that there was way more to him than what everyone else thought.  He's one of my favorite of the brothers so I am happy for him.  They are a really great match even with her not being a wolf.  It works.

I will say that the ending was fantastic.  I am super excited that a certain someone is gone.  I have always hated him with a passion.  I think it will make for a fantastic book if Dannika Dark every decides to bring him back.  Which I don't see how she couldn't.

Four Days by Dannika Dark

By far my favorite of this series so far.  I went into it expecting to hate it because Ivy has kind of annoyed me in the past books.  I have always loved Enzo but Ivy.. I don't know.  I just never clicked with her but I love her!  What an amazing woman.  I would never have guess all that was going on under her seemingly carefree attitude. And everyone knows my love for Dannika Dark's Mageri series and I love that the Cross family from that series has a HUGE part of Ivy.  I was heartbroken over the end of the Mageri series and with just this little bit I am no longer heartbroken.  Everything feels settled.  I hate reviews that give away spoilers so I can't say how they intermingle but it is huge and it makes me love Ivy so much more because it shows just how strong she really is.

Honestly she is one of my favorite characters now and it makes me sad that she is moving over to Enzo's house and probably won't play such a big role in the rest of the series.  I guess I will see if that is true or not.   I hope I am wrong because I have even grown to like the way she speaks in riddles sometimes.  It seems to calm some of the other characters.

Shine by Dannika Dark

I am so sad that the series is over! It is always a bittersweet moment when you realize that you are on your last book and when you get to that last chapter and you can just tell the author is wrapping things up.  I loved this whole freaking series.  This book was no different.  It made me laugh, cry and want to throw my kindle across the room at times.  Dannika Dark did a fantastic job at closing the series.  Shine wasn't too emotional.  It still had a lot of drama with Silver and Logan that we have had in the last couple of books and you find out everything about Silver in this one obviously.  Now that I know everything I love it so much more. It is defiantly a series I will go back and re read at some point down the road!
