I want to say that I hated this book buuuut I stayed up all night reading it so what does that tell you? So the book was entertaining but it wasn't necessarily good. Does that make any sense at all? no? Oh well it's how I feel.

So first off Lila who is running away from an abusive ex. So she gets a job at a biker tattoo shop... seems pretty legit. I know if I was running away from a crazy ex, that I would immediately go somewhere with scarier men. She's sworn off "that" type of men so when theres sparks with the boss Dare, she ignores them.. but not really because she goes on and on and on about how much she wants to fuck him. She is obsessed with his every move and thats freaking annoying.

Then there's Dare, who I don't know, he's a biker. He acts like a biker. He likes to tie up Lila and do some kinky things with her. That's pretty much it. Oh he has this big secret that isn't really a secret because it's obvious early on. But anyways he runs away from Lila because he thinks he isn't good enough for her because of this secret. I think it's stupid to run away from someone you love just because you are too scared to talk to them but that's just me.

The story itself was okay.. There were a lot of things that didn't make sense to me. It's why only some MC romances work for me. This one had a story until about halfway through when they start having sex and then thats literally all they do. I think there's one scene/day where they go for a ride on his bike and watch TV but other than that, they do nothing else but screw. Which is cool. This is an erotica book. But ill be honest, the sex scenes weren't all that hot. They were kinky but I think there was too many scenes and I think it just because you tie someone up doesn't make the sex hot. There wasn't enough detail for the scenes to be steamy... not that you want too much details but when you say you tie ropes all around her body... all I'm thinking about is when you see those cartoons that are tied to a railroad track about to get run over.. and yeah thats not sexy.

So like I said, I really didn't love the story. It had a few holes and Lila character contradicted itself. But other than that the writing was good. I mean I couldn't stop reading it to go to bed so obviously it had to be good.. right?
