Review: Ravage Me

Ravage Me Ravage Me by Ryan Michele
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I don't have the energy to write a review right now. But I will say that I have read a few MC books. I have to be in the right mood to enjoy them because usually they end up being super trashy. This one was defiantly trashy plus if I heard one of the main characters say old lady or old man one more freaking time I was going to somehow go find them and beat the shit out of them. I am married and I don't refer to my husband as husband. I would have to punch myself. SO ANNOYING! I honestly don't think that I will ever read the next book.

Review: Claimed

Claimed Claimed by M. Never
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Let me start off by saying that the slave thing does not work for me at all. Dominance and submission absolutely but the thought of some of the things that he does to Ellie makes me sick and I knew al this after reading the first book. BUT the thing is, the writing is really good and I HAD to know what happens to Ellie and Kayne so I picked up the second book and it was no where near as bad as the first one.

I did know who the bad guy was from the very beginning though. What I loved about this book was the fact that Ellie had a choice this time around and they kind of did the whole vanilla thing for awhile. And I honestly liked the two characters this time around. I think Ellie is crazy but that's because the thought of wearing a collar makes me want to start a protest and I'm not a feminist in any way. But I think Kayne was honestly willing to give up the kink to have her. Now I don't think it would have worked out in the long run because it was so ingrained in him but I love that he tried.

The other thing that I really didn't like was the foursome/sharing. I am a jealous person and if the man I just promised to marry was looking at another naked girl while I was standing right there, he'd be missing a very important part of himself and staring at my back as I walked out. But Ellie was all into. Again to each their own. My problem is I like to stick myself into books and I defiantly could not do it with this book.

Then there's the ending. I won't go into details but it broke my heart but that's where Kayne really won me over. He was so so sweet and I just think it would be hard to have someone who's been through something so traumatic but he never once thought about going anywhere. So yay for him. I am happy he and Ellie worked things out. Even if I think think they are both a little crazy ;)

Review: Drantos

Drantos Drantos by Laurann Dohner
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

So I loved this book at first. Then they fell in love after a couple of days and shit started getting real, real cheesy. I hate the cheese. I hate it so freaking much and this book over did it. I literally cringed at alot of what they said to each other.

Okay so we have a whole freaking new world and an interesting one. We have Vamp/were mix and vamp gargoyle mix races. So that was something new. Drantos is a vampwere or I actually think the book calls them vamplycans. Anyways he's one of them and Dusti is half vamplycan but she is more vamp. Yeah I can see now that it is kind of confusing. Dusti is the granddaughter of Drantos' clans worst enemy. Drantos planned on taking her and her sister to his clan where they would probably be killed but then he tasted her blood and got her aroused and he realized that she was actually his mate... shocker I know.

Long story short: There's a few battles. Dusti has to learn how to be a part of the clan. They have some sex and fall madly in love with each other. The end.

Review: Wild

Wild Wild by Sophie Jordan
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

I hate Georgia. I hated her so freaking much. I almost stopped reading this book after about 30 mins of listening to it. But then Logan came along and I enjoyed him quite a bit so finished the book. I enjoyed his mouth so very much. He was a sweetheart with a filthy mouth. I can not ask for a better male character. Georgia was a twit. She was a complete bitch and I still don't understand what Logan saw in her.

Review: Turbo Twenty-Three

Turbo Twenty-Three Turbo Twenty-Three by Janet Evanovich
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I can describe this book in a few sentences.

This funny book is the same as the last 5 books. Stephanie runs in some trouble. Someone tries to kill her. She has some domestic-ish nights with Morelli. She goes to Disney with Ranger and sleeps with him and then goes right back to Morelli. She solves the case with the help of Morelli, Ranger and Lulu. The end.

NOTHING has progressed. NOTHING has changed. She is technically dating Morelli but she sleeps with Rangers. So she's kind of a horrible person. Honestly if her and Lulu weren't so funny together I would stop reading this series. But if you focus on everything besides her relationship than the book is awesomely funny. It's kind of on the same lines as the Charlie Davidson series with Charlie and Cookie. Except Lulu is crazier and kind of more awesome.

But I won't lie and say that the relationship part of the story doesn't piss me off because it does. It's been 23 freakin books. Have her make up her mind about the men in her life. Or just have her be a single crazy bounty hunter. The book would be so much better if I wasn't getting so upset about her relationship status. BUT thats kind of my own pet peeves with book.

I will of course go on with the series. Any book that can make me laugh out loud is worth reading even if I get frustrated with certain parts.

Review: Dark Skye

Dark Skye Dark Skye by Kresley Cole
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

So I hated the first 60% of this book. Like I hated it. I can not stand when the problem with the couple is a misunderstanding and not only is it a misunderstanding it's a misunderstanding that has been going on for centuries. If they would have taken 5 minutes to have a damn conversation the could have been happy for the last 500 years. I do not understand how 2 people could be best friends but not give the other person a chance to explain before making him fall off a cliff or out of a window.. whatever it was.

BUT I absolutely loved the last part of the book. I LOVED Lanthe and Thronos' relationship after they got over themselves and talked. I loved the way Thronos showed her off and even though all of his people hated her kind he never once tried to hide her. He wanted her opinion on everything involving ruling their realm. I loved the way they interacted. They were best friends and lovers. It was amazing. Exactly what I would want in a relationship.

The last part of the book was by far my favorite of any of the other books from this series. I like this couple more than the rest of them. I wish the first part of this book was as awesome as the last part. I honestly have no clue how to rate it because I can not explain how much I hated the first half. Like I almost DNF the book at around 30%.

Sigh. Defiantly stick with the book. I am glad I did. I fell in love with the couple they became.

Review: Burning Shadows

Burning Shadows Burning Shadows by Jennifer Anne Davis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I finally got around to finishing this book and it was sooo good!!

Sometimes the 2nd book in a series seems like filler and this was defiantly not that. In fact there's a lot of things that I can't say in here because it gives too much away. We learn SOO much in here about all the characters.

I can not wait for the 3rd book!
